#2 Surfside Beach: South of Myrtle Beach, this is the spot known as, "the family beach". There is coastal living in abundance with homes and condominiums overlooking wide expanses of beach.

#4 Murrells Inlet,"the Seafood Capital of South Carolina", is the place to go for oysters, clams, shrimp and fresh fish. The Marshwalk is a must-see and includes a 1,400 foot Murrells Inlet boardwalk. Wander along the Marshwalk to see the wildlife and views across the wetlands, and also to visit many restaurants and marina that line the path .  

#5 Litchfield and Litchfield Beach: This is home to magnificent gated residential and golf course communities as well as specialty shops and magnificent beaches. With the Intracoastal Waterway to the west and Atlantic Ocean to the east... who could ask for more. There is also a Harbor Club marina on the Intracoastal Waterway. Litchfield is the historic site of former rice plantations.
